Hello and welcome to the transporterhq.co.uk channel. We hope to create videos that help you in your quest for the perfect VW Transporter. Whether it's a panel van, kombi or a full camper, lifted, lowered or standard height, we try and cover everything you need. What happened to my DREAM Transporter build?!?
Its been a long time coming, but here's a quick update on by dream VW Transporter T5, Pre-facelift 2.5TDI camper build.
I'm so excited for this and pleased to finally be getting on with it. Content will come thick and fast on this, so be sure to keep watch and subscribe to the channel. This thing needs to be ready for Gravity Show in August!! Nothing like a killer deadline right?
We're going to cover engine swap, new front end etc, Navis front and rear big brake kit, caravelle interior, bog audio install, Horizon pop top roof install, full colour change, new Porsche front seats install and wiring up, Clayton Power unit install with Solar panel, Solow Air suspension, carpet lining and insulation, swivel seats, diesel heater install, more BHP, new wheels, anti roll bars, e-grille hook up, stealth rear door flap, new headlights and rear lights, removal tow bar and soooo much more.
In the words of the Spice Girls, "Two become one" in the mega engine swap build. This thing will have everything thrown at it and we'll document it all right here on UA-cam.

I've always liked the Volkswagen Transporter T6.1 front. There have been lots of different styling options for the VW T6.1, but the new GT-T bumper has to be my favourite by a long way. wish i had the money for a t5 but i would fit a mk4 golf/bora arl engine with stock 150bhp and map it to 230 with a hybrid turbo
This has all come about because we found a pre production T5 with only 1600 miles on it. That's the engine we want to use.

Sorry, badly written for me - I meant that all too often I watch videos where “as it by magic” the amazing project is complete with the huge time and effort only really hinted at. The reality for a lot of “hobbiests” is that we get the project, think it’ll take 6mths, and 3yrs later life got in the way and it’s still on the drive making us feel like a failure! I can’t imagine how busy you guys must be, so it’s just refreshing to see an update that makes me feel a bit better for once!

Bought these with the rear led smoked lights and smoked side repeaters and looks absolutely amazing and was great quality and fit so well.

Remove the fuse in the loom for 10 minutes and put it back in again to re set this.

Now I’m confused, had decided to buy your current DRL lights and now you have these! I guess they are road and MOT legal as they look so bright (and brilliant by the way)? Do they not have actual led bulbs that can be replaced then but built in ones, if so does that mean you have to buy a new light if one fails
Full road and MOT legal. They aren't LED bulbs, they are build with LED like a factory VW light is.
VW transporter built by ford in turkey.. Having a fleet of vw Transporter and Ford Transits the highest milage VW has 250,000 miles and it still drives and feels better than one of our brand new ford 's :( The transporter is dead....

Really? It's so much cheaper than all the other options out there. That prices is a full bumper, all brackets, all lower grilles and 2 parking sensors.

The led bulb package says off road only, surely that makes it non road legal regardless of the headlamp unit?
Because they are behind a projector in our lights, they pass all MOT's.
Lovely van but I cannot ever see or understand the point of something that will take me into the countryside on rough roads & in Scotland gravel tracks. There’s your million pound spoiler gone etc etc. no for me . Standard shocks all day long because I want to take it everywhere.
But this lifts to standard height at the touch of a button. Plus it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more comfortable than standard suspension. Oh and at the touch of a button, I can lower it to get it in lower car parks.

I’ve got a t6.1 4motion.. rides great on b14. Just fitted the rear poweflex bushes and putting it back together the rear left axle seems to be “stuck” hanging down.. it seems to have come out of the cv on the hub side no idea how get it back in.. don’t really want to open the boot 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏻♂️ anyone got any ideas lol

This is an eco flow. We installed an ignition live in the rear though so its always charging when the ignition is on.
